Donation Cancellation:

  • General One-time Donations:
    • Donors have the option to cancel a donation within 24 hours of making the payment.
    • To cancel a donation, please contact our support team at with your donation details.
    • If the donation is made during a fundraising campaign with specific terms, cancellations may not be possible. Please check campaign-specific conditions for details.
  • Recurring Donations:
    • Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time through your donor account or writing to the above email address. 
    • Please ensure that you cancel recurring donations at least 24 hours before the next scheduled payment to prevent being charged for that cycle.
    • The donations can also be stopped by logging into your banking app and pause the donations from the e-mandate section.

Refund Policy:

  • General Donations:
    • Platform Commons does not provide refunds for general donations, except in cases of unauthorised transactions or system errors.
    • If you believe your donation was processed in error, please contact our support team at within 3 days of the transaction with the relevant details.
  • Recurring Donations:
    • Refunds for recurring donations can be issued if requested within 30 days of the initial donation and the donor has not received any benefit related to the donation.
    • After the 30-day period, refunds will not be available for any recurring donations.
    • To request a refund for a recurring donation, please contact our support team at the above email address with your donation details.

Special Circumstances:

  • Campaign-Specific Donations:
    • Some fundraising campaigns may have specific terms and conditions regarding donations, including cancellations and refunds.
    • Be sure to review the campaign details and contact the campaign organizer for information on campaign-specific policies.
  • Unauthorized Transactions:
    • If you suspect an unauthorised transaction or fraudulent activity on your account, please report it to our support team immediately.
    • We will investigate the issue and, if confirmed, initiate a refund process.
  • System Errors:
    • In the event of a system error or technical glitch that results in a donation processing incorrectly, please contact our support team with all relevant details.
    • We will investigate the error and, if verified, process a refund.
