Introduction

Through after-school learning program, U&I invests in children from underprivileged backgrounds with courses in English, Maths, Science and Social Studies. Under this umbrella, U&I also runs a 360 degree Program where children are given a holistic education through science camps, field trips, art workshops and career building workshops, in order to build their confidence. Today, U&I reaches 1600 children in 20 cities across India. The goal is to give every student the opportunity to shine in the classroom – and beyond.

What are they aiming for?

U&I provides tuition classes to students which helps them excel at difficult subjects like math and science. Most of these students are first-generation learners whose first language is a local language. They aim to teach these children English in order to make them eligible to study in a college of their choice and increase their employability. They also aim to reach out to the students who have already dropped out of school and have no basic education.
